About the Event
Join us for our 2026 Spring Drinks Reception at Cook Society Member Rebecca Hossack's eponymous Art Gallery where we will welcome our guest speaker Paddy McGuinness CMG.
He was the UK’s Deputy National Security Advisor for Intelligence, Security and Resilience, 2014-18, advising two successive British Prime Ministers on the National Risk Assessment and the UK’s ability to respond to and recover from hazards and threats, Cyber strategies, Counter Terrorism and approach to managing Hostile State Activities including the resilience of Critical National Infrastructure.
He joined the Foreign Office in 1985 and served in the Middle East and Europe. He is now a senior adviser at Brunswick Group and co-founder of Oxford Digital Healthcare and Venari Security.
